Fandom,an organized and professional interest circle,is developed by fans.The research results on fandom are fruitful,mainly focusing on the relevant concepts,the chaos and its features,the cause and its harm,and the governance strate-gies of the fandom.The systematic analysis of the research results has found four characteristics:first,short duration and fast development;second,high attention and wide spread;third,multidisciplinary participation and dominant news communication;fourth,diversified evaluation.Although the researches in the academic field are detailed,there are still some weak links:first,the participation of ideological and political education and management science are limited;second,the idol range of fandom is too narrow;third,cross-cultural researches and comparative researches are weak;fourth,the quantitative researches and micro researches are less.In the future,the academe should enhance the researches of fandom in some disciplines,attach importance to the researches of fandom,increase the comparative researches of different ages and types of fandom,cross-cultural research-es,and increase quantitative researches and micro researches.
