A significant way to promote the overall revitalization of the countryside is rural tourism.An important internal driving force to achieve the long-term vitality of the countryside is reflected in the development of village folk sports.By sharing resources,complementing each other,and coordinating with each other,the two should be integrated for development,which has been an important direction of rural construction.It is thought that village folk sports and rural tourism have the necessity to ex-perience the process of integration of space,industry and service under the driving of social transformation,scientific and tech-nological impetus,policy support,the endogenous needs of cultural development and the value needs of multiple subjects.The mechanism of their integrated development lies in the realization of the coordinated development of traditional cultural resources and modern tourism,as well as the driving of the re-integration and optimization of resources,elements,technologies and mar-kets in rural areas.In accordance with the linkage of the development process between the two,some suggestions are proposed,such as strengthening the leading role of the government and the coordinated management of multiple entities;speeding up the integration of resources and creating a rural cultural and tourism industry cluster scenic spot;deepening the concept of integra-tion and innovating the inheritance of folk sports culture;promoting the integration of science and technology,constructing a practical path for rural development enabled by digital technology.A new model for modern rural development should be creat-ed to inject momentum and cultural vitality into rural revitalization.
