PRESENT RESEARCH STATUS AND TREND OF METAL MATRIX COMPOSITES BY POWDER METALLURGY
Reinforcement phase, properties and applications of Fe matrix, Mg matrix, Cu matrix and Al matrix composites by powder metallurgy were summarized. The present research status of these composites was also reviewed. Moreover, several major challenges and prospect of development were discussed.
