PVA水凝胶直写3D打印制备Al2O3陶瓷的工艺研究

实验以热溶-速冻技术开发的PVA水凝胶为粘结剂,制备了具有一定流变特性、稳定的Al2O3陶瓷浆料,并采用自行设计的气动挤出直写3D打印机实现了形状复杂的Al2O3陶瓷件成形制备.研究了Al2O3陶瓷浆料的流变行为及可挤出打印条件,对打印坯体断面及烧结件进行了观察分析,并对网格坯体的干燥-烧结收缩率及烧结件的抗弯强度进行了测定.结果表明:采用PVA水凝胶作为粘结剂可制备出稳定的并能保证匀速挤出的Al2O3陶瓷浆料,适于直写3D打印的固相体积分数为55%~65%.提高固相体积分数,有助于浆料的3D打印成形,降低坯体的干燥-烧结收缩率,抑制烧结变形,但过高的固相体积分数会降低坯体层与层之间粘合程度,降低烧结件的抗弯强度.实验得出的最佳固相体积分数为60%,并通过工艺优化实现了多种形状陶瓷件的3D打印.
Study on the process of Al2O3 ceramics prepared by PVA hydrogel direct writing 3D printing
Using PVA hydrogel developed by hot dissolve quick freezing technology as binder,the stable Al2O3 ceramic slurry with certain theological properties was prepared,and the Al2O3 ceramic parts with complex shape were formed by self-designed pneumatic extrusion direct writing 3D printer.The theological behavior and extrudable printing conditions of Al2O3 ceramic slurry were studied.The results show that using PVA hydrogel as binder can prepare stable Al2O3 ceramic slurry that can be extruded at a uniform speed.The solid volume frac-tion suitable for direct writing 3D printing is 55%-65%.Increasing the solid volume fraction is conducive to 3D printing of slurry,reducing the drying sintering shrinkage of green body,and inhibiting sintering deformation.The bonding degree between green body layers and the flexural strength of sintered parts will be reduced with too high solid volume fraction.The optimal solid volume fraction obtained through experiments is 60%,and 3D printing of various shapes of ceramic parts has been achieved through process optimization.
