River dynamics is the core course of hydrology and water resources engineering.There are problems in teaching such as high basic requirements,knowledge fragmentation and limited teaching materials.In order to enable students to better master the course knowledge,three measures are put proposed,namely,the integration and recon-struction of teaching content based on large units,key and difficult teaching based on independent learning,and case teaching based on typical engineering.On this basis,both online and offline mixed teaching exploration is implemen-ted.The practice shows that the mixed teaching mode solves the problems existing in the teaching,improves the students'self-study ability,couples theory with practical engineering,and improves the students'ability to analyze complex engineering problems.The mixed teaching reform of river dynamics could provide references for the curricu-lum construction of water conservancy majors.
