Spatial Distribution and Influencing Factors of Forest Health Bases in Jiangxi Province
Jiangxi Province boasts abundant forest resources, providing a unique foundation for the development of forest health industry.Forest health bases serve as the fundamental support for the development of this industry.A systematic study of the spatial distribution pattern and influencing factors of forest health bases in Jiangxi Province is of great significance for the high-quality development of the forest health industry. This research, based on data from 136 forest health bases in Jiangxi Province, employs GIS spatial analysis and geographic detectors to explore the spatial distribution and influencing factors of these bases. The results indicate an uneven spatial distribution pattern of forest health bases in Jiangxi Province, characterized by aggregation in the east and west, dense in the north while sparse in the south, with multiple cores and a layout along the edges of municipal boundaries. The spatial distribution of forest health bases in Jiangxi Province is influenced by both natural resource factors and so-cio-economic factors. In terms of natural resource factors, they exhibit characteristics such as proximity to low-lands,along gentle slopes, near water bodies, and adjacent to tourist areas. The natural advantageous conditions include elevation below 200 meters, terrain undulation ranging from 0 meters to 50 meters, slope gradients be-tween 5 degrees and 15 degrees, and proximity to water systems within 5 kilometers.Regarding socio-economic factors, factors such as road mileage, local fiscal expenditures on agriculture, forestry and water, and the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industries have a significant impact on the spa-tial distribution of forest health bases.Conversely, per capita disposable income of urban residents and per capita gross domestic product(GDP)exhibit weaker explanatory power and show a negative correlation with forest health base density.
