"Incorporating Qi into the Heart":Wang Yangming's Ethical Orientation of"Qi"
"Qi"is an indispensable factor in the ethical thought of Wang Yangming."Qi"is not only related to the foundation of existence theory, but also has its own ethical orientation.Wang Yangming's ethical thought did not ignore"Qi",but only adopted different expression forms.Whether the prerequisite for moral value, the logic of evil,or the method of moral cultivation and moral practice,is inevitable to has various associations with"Qi".The reason why Wang Yangming had"Qi"hidden after"Heart"and"incorporated Qi into the Heart"is that it is determined by the position of the philosophy of the mind.Taking"Heart"as"Qi"is not only a natural conclusion from the perspective of meaning generation theory, but also the requirement of ethical ontology. To explain the ethical orientation of"Qi"in Wang Yangming's thought not only helps us further understand the concept of con-science,but also helps further grasp the moral expression of Confucian discourse.
