A Study of the Impact of Regional New Quality Productivity on Economic Resilience in the Context of Industrial Structure
Cultivating regional new quality productivity can enhance economic resilience. To address the important practical issue of how to enhance economic resilience in high-quality development of the economy in the new era, based on rigorous measurements of the level of regional new quality productivity, and utilizing panel data collected from 31 provinces(excluding the regions of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)in China from 2010 to 2022,this pa-per analyzes the mechanism of the role of regional new quality productivity in improving economic resilience, and explores the development path of reconstructing economic resilience from the perspective of industrial structure up-grading.Research indicates that new quality productivity exerts a considerable positive influence on bolstering e-conomic resilience and fostering regional economic growth, with a spatial pattern of"strong in the east and weak in the west";the new quality productivity level is the highest in East China and the lowest in Northwest China, indicating significant regional heterogeneity.Mechanism testing shows that the upgrading of industrial structure plays a positive regulatory role in the impact of regional new quality productivity on economic resilience. In addi-tion,there is spatial heterogeneity in the role of regional new quality productivity in enhancing economic resili-ence,so relevant policies should be optimized according to local conditions.
