Determination of 8 Perfluorinated Compounds in Medical Mask by HPLC-MS/MS
A high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric(HPLC-MS/MS)method was developed for the determination of 8 perfluorinated compounds(PFCs)in medical mask,including pentadecafluorooctanoic acid(PFOA),perfluorooctanesulfonic acid potassium salt(PFOS(K)),perfluoroundecanoic acid(PFUdA),perfluorododecanoic acid(PFDoA),perfluorooctanesulfonamide(PFOSA),perfluorotridecanoic acid(PFTrDA),perfluorotetradecanoic acid(PFTeDA),sulfluramid(N-EtPFOSA).Samples were extracted with methanol through ultrasonic method.The target ingredients were separated on a C18 column(150 mm× 2.1 mm,5 μm)using a mixture of methanol-ammonium acetate system as mobile phase by gradient elution.The 8 perfluorinated compounds were analyzed by MS under multiple reaction monitoring mode(MRM)and quantified by the external standard method.The results showed that the limits of quantitation of 8 perfluorinated compounds were between 0.50 and 1.58 μg/kg.The calibration curve of PFCs presented good linearity with the linearity range of 0.5-10.00 μg/L.The recoveries of 8 PFCs were in the range of 98.4%-102.3%with relative standard deviations(RSDs,n=6)of 1.55%-7.44%.The method was simple,accurate and sensitive,and was suitable for the determination of PFCs in medical mask.
