Determination of Alternaria Toxins in Flower Substitute Tea by Full-automatic QuEChERS-Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry
A method for the simultaneous determination of 5 kinds of alternaria toxins in flower substitute tea was established by ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry combined with full-automatic QuEChERS extraction. The samples were pre-treated by full-automatic QuEChERS experiment instrument, separated by ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 column and detected by MS/MS system under negative electro-spray ionization(ESI)mode with multiple reaction ion monitoring(MRM).Under the optimized conditions, all the 5 kinds of alternaria toxins were well separated with good linear relationships within their respective linear ranges, and the correlation coefficients(r)were greater than 0.999.The average recoveries of 5 kinds of alternaria toxins in 6 flower substitute tea matrices at 3 kinds of spiked levels ranged from 82.3%to 105.7%,with relative standard deviations no more than 10%,and the detection limits were between 0.5-1.5 pg/kg.The method has characteristics of fast analysis speed, high sensitivity and accuracy, and it can be used for the rapid detection of alternaria toxins in flower substitute tea.
