Quantitative Analysis of Multi-components by a Single Marker for Five Benzotriazole Sunscreens in Cosmetics Using Solid-Phase Extraction Coupled with High Performance Liquid Chromatography
A quantitative analysis of multi-components by a single marker(QAMS)for five benzotriazole sunscreens in cosmetics using solid-phase extraction(SPE)coupled with HPLC was established. The samples to be tested were purified by HLB SPE column, and the content of other substances was calculated by establishing the relative correction factor between the substance and the other four substances with Bisoctrizole as the internal reference. The effects of different injection volume, different flow rate of mobile phase and different column temperature on the relative correction factor were studied, and the calculation results of QAMS and the external standard method(ESM)were compared. The results showed that the five substances had a good linear relationship(R2≥0.9997),and the detection limit and quantitative limit were 4.00-26.43 μg/L and 10.00-60.42 μg/L,respectively.The relative correction factor had good repeatability, and the relative standard deviation were 0.25%-1.16%.There was no significant difference between QAMS and ESM,and the relative average deviation were 0.12%-2.19%.The established QAMS method with simple operation, less standard substances and high detection efficiency, which can be used for the content determination and quality control of five sunscreens in cosmetics.
