Determination of Basic Yellow 2 in Textiles by Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry with Ultrasonic Extraction
A liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)with ultrasonic extraction method was developed for the determination of basic yellow 2 in textiles. The textiles samples were extracted with methanol by ultrasonication, and basic yellow 2 was quantified by LC-MS/MS.The samples were detected in positive ion reaction monitoring MRM mode.A C18 column(2.1 mmX 150 mm,5 μm)was used with a gradient elution using methanol(A)-0.1%formic acid-5 mmol/L ammonium acetate aqueous solution(B)as the mobile phase. The results showed that the linearity of basic yellow 2 was good in the range of 1.0-100.0 μg/L with the R2=0.9997;the limits of detection and limits of quantification were 0.006 mg/kg and 0.02 mg/kg,respectively.The average recoveries were 82.0%-106.0%,and the relative standard deviations(RSDs)were 1.08%-7.31%(n=6).The method is suitable for the determination of basic yellow 2 in textiles.
