China's national reunification includes not only the formality of unification,but also the effective governance and integration after reunification.The successful experience of"One Country,Two Systems"in Hong Kong is mainly mani-fested in the unique achievements in Hong Kong's local governance after Hong Kong,which had been isolated from the mother-land for a long time,had been re-integrated into China's national governance system.The core is to make"local administrative region"as the basis and"local governance"as the main axis.The success of the practice of"One Country,Two Systems"in Hong Kong has enriched and developed the theory on national governance and provided us with an important reference for resol-ving the Taiwan question.Therefore,to learn from the successful experience of"One Country,Two Systems"in Hong Kong and explore the"One Country,Two Systems"solution to Taiwan,we must make it clear that Taiwan is a local administrative region of China,ensure patriots govern Taiwan within the scope of"local affairs"and establish a basic system for governing Taiwan after reunification under the"One Country"principle.
