The"Combination of All Laws"is the common characteristic of the ancient Chinese codes and the Ecological and Environmental Code, and the"naturalization of law"is the practical rationale that binds the ancient Chinese codes and the contemporary Ecological and Environmental Code.In order to overcome the shortcomings of the"Combination of All Laws",ancient China formed the codification tradition of combining and summarizing, along with simplifying.China's Ecological and Environmental Code should adhere to the path of moderate codification, and establish a special mechanism for revising the code that is different from the other laws, draw on the legal tradition of the renewal of the ancient laws, and adopt the legislative mode of code law and parallel legislation of the separate laws,so as to ensure that China's Ecological and Environmental Code has both comprehensiveness, systematicity, stability and openness.Ancient Chinese codes adhered to the concept of the"Har-mony of Man and Nature",and formed a unique"Model of Life"in the process of naturalization of laws.China's ecological and environmental codification should return to the traditional"Model of Life",overcome the shortcomings of the"Mode of Tech-nology",and compile an ecological and environmental code with Chinese characteristics, guided by the concept of"Harmony of Man and Nature".
