The normative connotation of procuratorial power in China is an important issue in the basic theory of supervi-sion,which should be expanded in four dimensions:power location,power nature,power core content and power function.In terms of power status,procuratorial power is an important category of state power,which has independent constitutional status and is exercised according to law under the leadership of the Party and the supervision of the People's Congress.In terms of na-ture of power,the power nature of procuratorial power is the"procuratorial power"clearly stipulated in the Constitution.In the core of power,there is a close relationship between procuratorial power and legal supervision,which highlights that legal supervision is the characteristic and core content of Chinese procuratorial power.In terms of power function,through the exer-cise of supervisory powers,the maintenance of national security and social order,the guarantee of the unified and correct im-plementation of national laws,the protection of national interests and social public interests,the protection of human rights,and the strengthening of the state supervision system can be achieved.The four dimensions complete the positioning of China's procuratorial power as a whole,highlighting the significance of the socialist procuratorial theory with Chinese characteristics.
