Analysis of Metaphors in Jiangsu Tourist Attractions based on Conceptual Integration
The formation of conceptual structure is a prerequisite for the mapping of conceptual metaphors.Compared to the single mapping method of conceptual metaphors from the source domain to the target domain,conceptual integration theory proposes a multi-space mapping based on mental space,that is,after the dual domain mapping,conceptual elements enter the category space for similarity matching,and finally enter the fusion space to form a new structure.This more dynamic and comprehensive metaphorical processing mode has a stronger explanatory power on the mechanism of metaphor production.This article analyzes the conceptual integration mechanism of conceptual metaphor,image metaphor,and image schema metaphor through three examples.It is believed that conceptual metaphor emphasizes the mapping between conceptual structures,image metaphor highlights the comparison and mapping of different images by evoking psychological representations,and image schema metaphor forms metaphorical meaning based on the schema structure and its accompanying logical relationships.
