Inconsistency Between"Name"and"Reality"——Zhuangzi's Freeplay of Language and Strategies of Deconstruction in the"Inner Seven Chapters"of Zhuangzi
Deconstruction,an ancient wisdom,is not exclusive to Derrida.Zhuangzi,a master of natural deconstruction, undermines the foundation of linguistic certainty in the"Inner Seven Chapters"of Zhuangzi, and plays a free game between"name"and"reality"under the guise of a group of people with"false names",thus exposing the contradictions and inconsistencies between"name"and"reality",the signifier and the signified. This Oriental example of deconstruction provides us with a lively and modern image of Zhuangzi apart from the traditional hermeneutics. At the same time,Zhuangzi's deconstruction of the shackles of language also makes the spirit of Confucianism and Taoism outshine each other, and ushers in the prelude to the combination of Confucianism and Taoism in ancient Chinese cultural philosophy.
