The Suzhou dialectal colloquialisms have rich and diverse structural types.Among them,proverbs can be divided into two structural forms:single sentences and complex sentences,with more complex sentence forms.The two-part allegorical saying can be divided into two structural forms:"introduction"and"annotation",both of which are mainly composed of phrases,with subject-predicate,partial-positive,predicate-object,serial verb,joint,and predicate-complement types as the majority.Idioms can be divided into two structural types:monolingual and bilingual,with monolingual types accounting for the majority.As a"living fossil"of local cultural phenomena,the Suzhou dialectal colloquialisms not only reflect the unique local production culture,food culture,marriage and funeral culture,but also reveal the survival wisdom and attitude towards life accumulated by the people of Suzhou in their long-term social life.
