Under the background of the era of inheriting and developing excellent traditional culture,folk rap in China has achieved sustainable and considerable development.Through the visual analysis of the number of papers,authors,research institutions,and keywords related to 1998-2023 using CiteSpace,it is found that the research topics of folk rap in the past 25 years have focused on rap literature,rap music,minority rap,and their inheritance and development.After experiencing the development and prosperity period,the research has entered an adjustment period.The map also shows that the research hotspots in recent years are"A Dream of Red Mansions","Culture","Feng Menglong","Local Folk Art Forms",and"Collective Memory".Based on the visual map data,this study further analyzes the problems existing in folk rap research and puts forward constructive suggestions.
