The importance and challenge of translating Chinese classics into English have become increasingly self-evident in the context of globalization.Through methods such as case analysis and comparative research,this paper focuses on analyzing the three dimensions of discourse logic in the English translation of the Chinese scientific and technological classic T'ien-kung K'ai-wu,namely,the logical relationships of context,facts,and narration.Based on this analysis,corresponding English translation strategies are further explored.The result shows that appropriately constrcuting the various discourse logical relationships between the source text and the target text should be a necessary approach for translators to pursue high-quality translations and achieve effective cultural exchange and dissemination.
