In the new era,community sports governance requires the leading role of grassroots party building.Through literature review and logical analysis,this study argues that grassroots party building leading community sports governance is a process of continuously promoting innovation and development in community sports governance.The theoretical logic of grassroots party building leading community sports governance mainly includes:from the perspective of social governance models,grassroots party organizations are the leading core of community sports governance;the relationship between political parties and social governance can continuously enrich the network of community sports governance;the party's guiding principles can provide abundant theoretical sources for community sports governance;and the theory of social governance with Chinese characteristics can provide solid theoretical support for community sports governance.The practical basis for grassroots party building leading community sports governance mainly includes:the development of community sports puts forward new requirements for grassroots party building;innovation in community sports governance assigns new tasks to grassroots party building;experience in grassroots party building leading community management/governance provides important lessons;and specific practices have verified the necessity and feasibility of grassroots party building leading community sports governance.
