From the first Yangtze River Bridge spanning the north and south to the bridges of friendship along the"Belt and Road"that connect people's hearts and promote common development,and then to the completion of the world-renowned Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macao Bridge,all these milestones mark that China's bridge construction has entered the world's leading ranks in terms of independent innovation capabilities,project scale,and construction level.Based on summarizing the significant achievements of bridge construction in the People's Republic of China,this paper explores the value implications and discusses its experience and enlightenment,which will have important practical significance for cultivating contemporary youth's patriotism and love for the people,establishing national technological self-confidence,and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
