从机器翻译的指称误译看译后编辑能力的培养

摘要
人工智能时代,机器翻译的应用愈加广泛,但译文质量仍与职业译员的水平存在一定差距,故译后编辑显得尤为重要.本文拟从语言学能指和所指的关系出发,探讨机器在英汉翻译中面对指称关系存在的明显不足,以及如何帮助学生识别机器翻译中指称的错误译文,并培养学生利用现代信息技术在译入语中为所指对象寻找合适表达式的能力.
Abstract
In the era of artificial intelligence,the application of machine translation in the translation and localization industry has become increasingly widespread,but there is still a certain gap in translation quality between the translation of machine and professional translators,requiring post-editing by experienced translators.This article aims to explore the obvious shortcomings of machine translation in the translation of reference,starting from the relationship between the linguistic signifier and signified,and figure out the approaches to help students improve their ability to identify the errors in translating reference by machine translation and find appropriate expressions for the referents in the target language with the help of information technology.
