摘要
香港《译丛》杂志译介的鲁迅旧体诗是地方性文学世界化的典例.译者寇志明在译本中阐释了鲁迅旧体诗与鲁迅手稿、历史文本及鲁迅其他作品的间性关系.译本中建构起的互文性知识展现了鲁迅诗歌内涵的深度与广度,也为读者理解文史交织的鲁迅诗歌提供了信息保障.译者对鲁迅旧体诗进行的确定化、具体化与逸脱化等知识转化处理,促进了汉诗知识在目的语文化中的本土化.译本中的多维知识建构与知识转化使译者在尊重源语文化的同时兼顾了读者的接受能力,最大限度确保了鲁迅旧体诗为英语世界所理解与接受,真正实现了翻译的跨文化交流之用.
Abstract
The translation of Lu Xun's classical poems published in the Renditions is a typical example of the globalization of local literary knowledge.The translator Kowallis clarifies the interrelationship between Lu Xun's classical poems and Lu Xun's manuscripts,Chinese historical texts,and his other works.The intertextual knowledge constructed in the translation demonstrates the depth and breadth of Lu Xun's classical poems'connotations,and provides target readers with a wealth of information to help understand Lu Xun's poetry,which is intertwined with literature and history.The translator's three models of knowledge transformation,determinization,concretization and deviance,promote the localization of Chinese poetic knowledge in the target language culture.The multifaceted knowledge construction and transformation enable the translator to respect the source culture while taking into account the readers'receptivity,truly realizing the cross-cultural communication function of translation,and ensuring the understanding and reception of Lu Xun's classical poems in the English-speaking world to the greatest extent possible.
