文学翻译中放纵式忠实之伦理解读

摘要
放纵式忠实是一种实验性翻译策略.这种翻译策略挑战了传统文学翻译的忠实观念,为文学翻译树立了一种新的伦理.本文从放纵式忠实的概念出发,考察其意义在汉语语境中的演绎和变迁.通过考察其意义在文学语篇中同文本动能和语言游戏产生的复杂关系,发现放纵式忠实对语音、词汇和句法等层面实施的翻译,可以避免对原文语言的常规化处理,激发文学语篇中的语篇能量,保持意义的延宕.在文学翻译中运用放纵式忠实策略,有助于彰显译者的主体性和主体地位,抵制翻译中的我族中心主义的发展倾向.
Abstract
Abusive fidelity is originally an experimental translation strategy.It challenged the prevailing traditional notion of fidelity in literary translation and establishes a new ethic for literary translation.Starting from the concept of abusive fidelity,this paper examines the interpretation and change of its meaning in the Chinese context.By analyzing the complex relationship that its meaning generates in literary discourse with the text dynamics and language play,it is found that abusive translation at the level of phonology,vocabulary and syntax can avoid normalization of the original language to motivate textual energy and maintain deferred meaning.The adoption of abusive fidelity in literary translation helps to highlight translators'subjectivity and status and counteracts the tendency of the development of ethnocentrism in translation.
