摘要

意象在古典戏剧的创作中至关重要.体认翻译学关于"体"与"认"、"现实"与"认知"、"同"与"异"、"仿"与"创"的解读对于意象形成机制有很强的阐释力.笔者在体认翻译学视域下比较了三个《牡丹亭》英译本的意象翻译,认为三个译本具有"精心模仿,创而有度"的共性,能给中国古典戏剧的意象翻译带来很大启发.

Abstract

Image is very important in the creation of classical drama.The interpretation of the concepts of"ti"(embodiment)and"ren"(cognition),"reality"and"cognition","identity"and"difference","imitation"and"creation"in Embodied-Cognitive Translatology sheds great light on the formation mechanism of image.Drawing on Embodied-Cognitive Translatology,the author of this paper compares three English versions of The Peony Pavilion in terms of image translation and finds that all the three versions are productions of"fine imitation with moderate creation",which can bring inspiration to the translation of image in Chinese classical drama.
