Based on the complex tooth design and actual meshing situation of spiral bevel gears,a tooth profile modeling method is proposed using tooth profile forming tool,which can effectively realize the accurate modeling of the tooth profile of spiral bevel gears.Then by using the spiral bevel gear as the primary modeling object,the automated modeling and assembly process is presented,and a parametric design system software is developed.The software can realize automated rapid modeling and assembly of spiral bevel gears,greatly shortening the modeling time.It also improves design quality and efficiency,and supports the growth of high-end equipment manufacturing and the digital transfor-mation of the industry.
