Susceptibility Assessment of Geological Hazard in Mining Area Based on Entropy Weight-TOPSIS Method
Landslide, collapse and unstable slope are the main geological hazards in the Lannigou gold mining area.Based on the engineering geological survey of the mining area,we selected road, fault, landform and lithology as the evaluation indexes to evaluate the susceptibility of the geological hazard in the Lannigou gold mining area by the entropy weight-TOPSIS method. The mining area is divided into high-susceptibility,medium-susceptibility,and low-susceptibility areas. The high-susceptibility area accounts for about 5.94%of the total mining area, which are mainly distributed in villages, such as Niluo,Shizhu and Tingshang and the area near the mining pits. The medium-susceptibility area accounts for 29.53%of the total mining area, mainly distributed on both sides of the road, the periphery of the high-susceptibility area, the waste rock dump, and the tailing pond. The low-susceptibility area accounts for about 64.55%of the mining area, mainly located in the low-lying areas of the carbonate platform on the west side of the mining area. The result shows that the susceptibility assessment of geological hazard in the Lannigou gold mining area are consistent with the distribution of existed geological hazards, thus verifying the accuracy of the evaluation results in this paper. It is suggested that relevant governments need to control the hidden geological hazards in the medium-susceptibility and high-susceptibility areas in the Lannigou gold mining area.
