In order to study the law of remaining oil re-enrichment during the high water-cut stage of complex fault-block reservoirs and evaluate the quality of remaining oil after re-enrichment,physical simulation experiments of remaining oil re-enrichment were conducted on thick-layer reservoirs and narrow-strip reservoirs in Jiangsu Oilfield,to analyze the influences of factors such as interlayer, distance between wells and faults, and pressure gradient on the remaining oil re-enrichment law.Based on the results of physical simulation experiments,a method for evaluating the quality of remaining oil re-enrichment was established by the re-enrichment index and utilization potential index as evaluation indicators. The evaluation results indicate that for thick oil reservoirs and narrow strip reservoirs, the remaining oil re-enrichment index and utilization potential index are higher under high-pressure gradient conditions, the decrease in water content and the increase in oil recovery are larger, and the quality of remaining oil re-enrichment is better. For narrow strip reservoirs, when the remaining oil is re-enriched far away from the fault, the decrease in water cut and increase in oil recovery is higher than that of the near-fault.
