Fluid-rock-tectonic interactions run through the entire process of oil and gas reservoir evolution, and represent a research field that is both cutting-edge and practical.Based on a detailed exposition of the characteristics, research frontiers, and existing issues of fluid-rock-tectonic interactions,it is hoped that the restriction of fluid-rock-tectonic interaction on oil and gas reservoirs is fully revealed. It is also pointed out that future interdisciplinary research in this field should be enhanced to achieve a transition from qualitative to quantitative analysis, and from phenomenological description to mechanistic interpretation, thereby promoting rapid development in the study of reservoir diagenesis dynamics and sedimentary basin dynamics.
