The development layer of the Yongchuan shale gas field is the Silurian Wufeng Formation-Longmaxi Formation, with a burial depth of about 3,500 to 4,300 meters. It is currently in the development evaluation stage. The reservoir is characterized by high stress, low brittleness, and a high degree of development of natural fractures and faults. The article confirms that the distance of faults around the wellbore and the density of natural fractures are the main controlling factors for post-fracturing production capacity through multi-factor analysis and fracture monitoring.Fracture parameters were simulated and production was predicted using fracturing design software, and the fracturing parameters and temporary plugging process were optimized for different levels of faults and natural fractures. In the YY54 platform,4 well operations with 88 fracturing stages were tested, and the average test production per well after fracturing was 24.16×104 m3/d,which greatly improved the fracturing effect. This has provided support for the production capacity construction of the Yongchuan shale gas field and has also provided technical references for the efficient development of similar shale gas fields.
