Predictive value of combined detection of miR-17-5p,IL-6 and MCP-1 for postoperative recurrence in patients with ovarian endometriosis
Objective To analyze the predictive value of serum microRNA-17-5P(miR-17-5p), interleukin-6(IL-6)and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)combined detection for postoperative re-currence in patients with ovarian endometriosis(OEM). Methods The OEM patients admitted to the Third Af-filiated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2019 to December 2022 were retrospectively selected as the research suobjects and named categorized as the OEM group(n=100). and the hHealthy women who under-went physical examinations in our hospital during the same period were selected chosen as the control group(n=60). The serum levels of miR-17-5p,IL-6 and MCP-1 were compared between the two groups. All patients in the OEM group received surgery and symptomatic treatment after admission, and were followed up for 12 months after post-treatment. Univariate and multivariate lLogistic regression analyseis were used to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence in patients with OEM. and An ROC curve was drawn to analyze the predictive value of serum miR-17-5p,IL-6 and MCP-1 levels for postoperative recurrence in patients with OEM. Results The level of serum miR-17-5p in the OEM group was lower than that in the control group, and while the levels of IL-6 and MCP-1 in the OEM group were higher than those in the control group. Theseand the differences were statistically significant(t=11.015,59.651,38.199,all P<0.05). Multivariate lLogistic regres-sion analysis showed that The a cyst diameter>5 cm(OR=1.828),ASRM stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ(OR=1.815),decreased serum miR-17-5p level decreased (OR=2.042),increased IL-6 level increased (OR=2.136) and increased MCP-1 level increased (OR=1.966) were all independent risk factors of postoperative recurrence in OEM patients Risk factors(P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed revealed that the levels of serum miR-17-5p,IL-6 and MCP-1 and the AUC of combined detection were 0.816,0.781,0.745 and 0.933,respectively. Combined detection was shown to be superior to single detection (P<0.05). Conclusion The combined detection of miR-17-5p,IL-6 and MCP-1 has a certain predictive value for postoperative recurrence in patients with OEM.
