Study on serum levels of serum β-Catenin,CYFRA21-1 and NSE in patients with solitary pulmonary nodules
Objective To analyze the levels of serum β-Catenin,cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen 21-1(CYFRA21-1)and neuron-specific enolase(NSE)in solitary pulmonary nodules.Methods 96 patients with solitary pulmonary nodules who were diagnosed and treated at Zibo 148 Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the observation subjects(solitary pulmonary nodules group).Based on the intra-operative pathological results,they were divided into benign and malignant groups.At the same time,96 healthy subjects undergoing physical examinations at the hospital were chosen as controls(healthy physical ex-amination group).The levels of serum β-Catenin,CYFRA21-1,and NSE were measured using electrochemi-luminescence.The differences of serum β-Catenin,CYFRA21-1 and NSE levels between solitary pulmonary nodules group,healthy physical examination group and benign and malignant groups of solitary pulmonary nodules were compared and analyzed.The Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was used to analyze the diagnostic value of serum β-Catenin,CYFRA21-1,and NSE in patients with solitary pulmonary nod-ules.Results Serum β-Catenin,CYFRA21-1,and NSE levels were found to be significantly higher in the solitary pulmonary nodule group compared to the healthy physical examination group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among the patients with solitary pulmonary nodules,52 were classified as benign(benign group)and 44 as malignant(malignant group).The levels of serum β-Catenin,CYFRA21-1,and NSE in the malignant group were significantly elevated compared to the benign group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Serum β-Catenin,CYFRA21-1,and NSE were identified as having predictive value for malignant solitary pulmonary nodules,with AUC values of 0.734,0.826 and 0.780,re-spectively.The diagnostic value of combined detection was even higher,with a sensitivity of 90.96%,specific-ity of 92.05%,and an AUC of 0.931.Conclusion Monitoring their levels can aid in diagnosing and predict-ing solitary pulmonary nodules.
