Study on Thermophysiological Response of Police Officers Working Outdoors in High Temperature Environment
The effect of high temperature environment on the thermophysiological response of police per-sonnel working outdoor is not clear yet.Taking police officers as the experimental subjects, the changes of core temperature, average skin temperature, and heart rate of human body under different ambient temperatures, labor intensity, and clothing types are studied by using an artificial climate chamber. The results show that the human core temperature will exceeds 38 ℃ when the ambient temperature exceeds 38 ℃and the continuous operation is more than 45 minutes at moderate labor intensity,or the ambient temperature exceeds 36 ℃and the continuous operation is more than 30 minutes at heavy labor intensity. The average skin temperature of police officers is 36.60 ℃when wearing police uniforms under various working conditions, which is higher than that wearing casual clothes(36.29 ℃).The higher the labor intensity, the less the influence of ambient temperature values on heart rate in high temperature environ-ments.
