Selegiline,a drug used to treat Parkinson's disease, has metabolites similar to methamphet-amine,which makes it difficult for the public security organs to determine whether the suspect has smoked methamphetamine or taken selegiline. The structural differences between selegiline and metham-phetamine were analyzed, and the analysis and detection methods of selegiline and its metabolites were also summarized.Furthermore,a mind map for judging whether the suspect took selegiline or smoked methamphetamine was proposed, which could help the public security organs and forensic drug analysts quickly and accurately judge whether the suspect took drugs and provide an important reference for rele-vant practical applications.
