Spatial and Temporal Differentiation,Macro Influencing Factors and Mechanism of Farmers'Living Affluence in China
Living affluence concerning farmers'most concerned,direct and realistic interests,which is the fundamental foothold of implementing the rural revitalization strategy and the inevitable requirement of realizing common prosperity.Based on an evaluation index system of farmers'living affluence,which takes into account different dimension forms of material and spirit,absolute and relative,static and dynamic,monetary and non-monetary,and using 31 provincial panel data from 2015 to 2021,this paper employs the entropy method,kernel density estimation and fixed effect model to empirically analyze the spatial and temporal differentiation,macro influencing factors and mediation mechanism of farmers'living affluence in China.The findings indicate that the level of farmers'living affluence has been greatly improved,but there are obvious differences from region,dimension and inter-province.Developing provincial economy,promoting urbanization,expanding crop sown area according to local conditionsand guiding industrial structure supererogation and rationalization would improve the level of farmers'living affluence,but there is a"substitution effect"for the impact of economic development and urbanization rate or industrial structure supererogation on the level of farmers'living affluence.Moreover,the improvement of financial aggregation level will weaken the positive impact of provincial economic development on farmers'living affluence.
