Achieving common prosperity involves harmonizing material and cultural advancement,balancing extensive coverage with reasonable gap,integrating development efficiency with social equity,aligning short-term adjustments with long-term equilibrium,and coordinating institutional norms with comprehensive governance.Throughout its history,the Communist Party of China has consistently promoted common prosperity,maintaining a coherent theoretical exploration and system construction characterized by distinct temporal features and historical logic.In the new era,China has made historic strides toward common prosperity:residents'income levels have steadily increased,a moderately prosperous society has been comprehensively established,and the social security system has been continually improved.However,challenges persist,including imbalances in disposable income structures,widening wealth disparities,uneven provision of basic public services,and significant regional income gaps.These issues stem from deeper factors such as industrial structure,income distribution systems,demographic composition,and regional development.To address these challenges,it is essential to enhance industrial quality and efficiency to strengthen the economic foundation and enlarge the"cake";to bolster technological research and innovation to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces and improve the"cake";to refine the income distribution system to promote social equity and fairly divide the"cake";and to further advance common prosperity through the construction of cultural and ethical progress.
