人工智能对企业污染排放的影响效应研究

在人工智能蓬勃发展的新阶段,企业应用人工智能有助于促进绿色高质量发展.以2008-2021年中国沪深A股上市公司为研究对象,检验人工智能对企业污染排放的影响.研究发现,企业采用人工智能可以显著减少企业的污染排放.在一系列稳健性检验下,上述结果保持不变.异质性分析表明,人工智能对东部地区企业、国有企业、劳动密集型企业、非技术密集型企业和大规模企业污染排放的抑制效应更为明显.机制分析表明,人工智能通过减少企业的劳动力雇佣和提高企业全要素生产率降低企业的污染排放.
Research on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Corporate Pollution Emissions
In the new stage of booming development of artificial intelligence,the application of artificial intelligence by enterprises can help promote green and high-quality development.This article takes Chinese A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2021 as the research object to examine the impact of artificial intelligence on corporate pollution emissions.Research has found that the adoption of artificial intelligence by enterprises can significantly reduce their pollution emissions.Under a series of robustness tests,the above results remain unchanged.Heterogeneity analysis shows that artificial intelligence has a more significant inhibitory effect on pollution emissions from enterprises in the eastern region,state-owned enterprises,labor-intensive enterprises,non technology intensive enterprises,and large-scale enterprises.Mechanism analysis shows that artificial intelligence reduces labor employment and improves total factor productivity to reduce pollution emissions.
