Laboratory experimental study on strength characteristics of coastal soft soil reinforced by using different hardening agents
In order to improve the strength, characteristics and timeliness of the curing agent to strengthen the coastal soft soil, the strength evolution of the solidified coastal soft soil under the action of curing agent type, curing agent dosage,water-cement ratio, stirring uniformity, curing conditions and other factors is studied through laboratory tests. The test results show that the compressive strength of soft soil reinforced with different curing agents continues to increase with the extension of curing age.Replacing the cement with HR soft soil curing agent can effectively improve the compressive strength of soft soil solidification. The longer the mixing time is,the higher the compressive strength of the soft soil solidification is.With the same mixing time, the compressive strength of cement-cured soft soil is much lower than that of soft soil reinforced by HR curing agent. The use of HR soft soil curing agent to strengthen the soft soil can effectively shorten the construction period on the basis of ensuring the construction quality. With the increase of the water-cement ratio, the compressive strength of soft soil solidification decreases significantly. With the same water-cement ratio, the compressive strength of soft soil reinforced by HR curing agent is greater than that of cement-cured soft soil.In the curing process, temperature and humidity play the important roles in the hydration process of the curing agent, which affects the compressive strength of the soft soil solidification. With the same amount of curing agent, the compressive strength of soft soil solidification under standard curing conditions is more than 2 times higher than that of low-temperature curing. The early compressive strength of soft soil solidification increases significantly with the extension of the curing age, after 14 days of age,the increase of compressive strength of the soft soil solidification is obviously slowed down with the increase of age.
