The specification of chemical anchor in lightweight aggregate concrete is not involved in the Technical Specification for Post-Installed Fastenings in Concrete Structures(JGJ 145-2013)in China, and there is a lack of relevant studies in domestic and international, which restricts the application of chemical anchor. To research the tensile properties of chemical anchor in lightweight aggregate concrete under pull-out failure mode,11 sets of static restraint tensile tests were designed and conducted using through-wire and inverted conical chemical anchor to analyze the effects of diameter, anchorage depth, chemical anchor type and other factors on the tensile properties of chemical anchor in lightweight aggregate concrete. The failure modes of post-installed adhesive anchor, including adhesive-mixed interface failure,adhesive-rebar interface failure, anchor steel failure and splitting failure, can be found from the test results. The tensile capacity of the inverted conical chemical anchor is lower than that of the through-wire one, which is prone to damage at adhesive-rebar interface, while the through-wire adhesive anchor is prone to damage at the adhesive-concrete interface. The average bond strength of through-wire adhesive anchor increases with the increase of anchorage depth, which has negligible correlation with the diameter of chemical anchor, and the tensile capacity increases with the increase of anchorage depth and diameter.
