An innovative prefabricated concrete beam with embedded section steel(PCB-ESS)that has the advantage of high bearing capacity, reliable connection and easy installation is proposed to be used in the column-beam dry connections.Combined with analysis of the concrete beam, the design method of embedded section steel is proposed,so two analysis models based on embedded channel steel and embedded angle steel are designed, and then the flexural performance, and the failure mode,load-displacement curve,load-reinforcement strain curve and load-embedded section steel strain curve can be obtained by test. The results show that the load-displacement curves mainly contain elastic stage,elastic-plastic stage and failure stage. The cracks develop sufficiently and longitudinal reinforcement at the middle bottom of beam are yielded at the ultimate stage, but the embedded section steel and transverse reinforcement are still in elastic, and the separation phenomena between steel plate and end of concrete beam cannot be observed. In addition, the load-displacement curves, crack development and damage modes of the two specimens are basically same, the maximum errors of forces and displacement at each stage are 5%,and the ductility coefficients are more than 3.0,which can achieve the expected mechanical properties.
