Research on Limiting Distance of Prestressing Using Limiting Plates for Epoxy-Coated Steel Strandin the Shen-Zhong Channel Bridge Project
In this paper, taking ShenZhong Channel Project as the research object, focusing on the tensioning construction of epoxy-coated steel strands, through theoretical analysis, indoor experiments and in-situ inspections, the impact of the limiting plate distance on anchor pocket friction and prestressing loss has been deeply studied.Firstly, the composition and influencing factors of anchor pocket friction in the anchorage system have been analyzed. Then, the influence of different limiting distances on anchor pocket friction loss and steel strand relaxation loss has been verified through experimental data and theoretical calculations.Subsequently, through calculations and experiments in actual bridge engineering, the wear condition of steel strands and the effective prestressing value under the anchor have been compared at different limiting distances. The conclusion has been drawn that a limiting distance of 12mm can effectively reduce prestressing loss when tensioning single-strand epoxy-coated steel strands in this project. Finally,in this paper, the research results have been summed up,the recommendation of using a limiting plate with a distance of 12mm for tensioning epoxy-coated steel strands in ShenZhong Channel Project has been proposed, which could provide scientific theoretical basis and practical guidance for similar prestressed construction projects.
