Analysis of Emergency Treatment Measures for Highway Slope Disasters and Evaluation of Their Effectiveness
Rain-induced slope disasters are sudden and require rapid and effective post-disaster treatment, which has significant economic and social implications. This article took a highway cutting slope in Guangdong province as a case study to analyse the causes of slope disasters.FLAC3D software was used to simulate the effect of cutting unloading and anchor grid beam reinforcement schemes in the emergency treatment design, the evaluation of which is conducted by deformation monitoring. The results showed that with approximately the same cutting volume and slope rates at all levels,it is advisable to set up large platform in the middle of the slope, followed by the one at the top. After cutting and unloading in the middle of the slope to form a large platform,it was essential to reinforce both the slope where the large platform is located and the first level slope.Compared to the differences in reinforcement positions, the different cutting positions had a relatively small impact on the stability of the slope. The large platform formed by cutting and the reinforcement of prestressed anchor cables will affect the development of the slope sliding surface,,such as the depth of the sliding surface, the position of the shear outlet.Deformation monitoring results showed that the emergency treatment measures can effectively prevent the further instability and sliding of the slope.
