Pushing forward research-oriented teaching reforms at local undergraduate universi-ties is difficult and embarrassingly marginalized while the traditional indoctrinating teaching still dominates,.Research-oriented teaching reforms at local undergraduate universities are confronted with problems,such as dysfunctional discursive power of teachers in teaching institutions,eroding teaching with research,a consumerism in students'learning and heterization of comprehensive quali-ty evaluation.To comprehensively advance and deepen research-oriented teaching reforms,efforts should be made at organizational and management levels,including restructuring the power structure to empower disciplinary specialties,integrating scientific research with teaching,curbing student learning consumerism and reconstructing harmonious teacher-student relationships,and developing competence-based comprehensive quality evaluation systems and multi-channel special incentives.
