Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism,which is of great practi-cal significance to improve people's sense of gain and happiness and meet people's yearning for a bet-ter life.Continuing education is instrumental in dismantling the accumulated disadvantages faced by vulnerable groups,serving the lifelong learning needs of all citizens,and contributing to high-quality economic and social development,thereby playing a foundational role in advancing common pros-perity.To fully harness the driving effect of continuing education on rural common prosperity,the government,vocational colleges,educational institutions and other subjects must build a rural talent team system,expand the channels of getting rich and increasing income,accelerate the overall revi-talization of rural areas and bridge the gap between urban and rural development,and prevent large-scale poverty recurrence while interrupting the intergenerational transmission of poverty.From a practical perspective,it is necessary to use digital technology to empower continuing education and facilitate upward mobility for vulnerable groups,accelerate the construction of a lifelong learning system for all,and promote the synergistic development of continuing education and vocational edu-cation to consolidate the cornerstone of common prosperity.
