The Current Status of Curriculum Construction in Network and New Media Majors Under the New Liberal Arts Context——A Study of 8 Universities in Northwest China
In recent years,new media has flourished,and since 2012,an increasing number of u-niversities across the country have offered courses in the field of network and new media.However,various universities are still in the exploratory stage of offering courses in this major.In the context of the construction of New Liberal Arts,this study investigates the course offerings and student sat-isfaction with network and new media majors in eight universities in the northwest region through questionnaire surveys and text analysis,aiming to provide valuable insights and references for the curriculum development in this field.
