Power Flow Calculation of Distribution Network with Distributed Generation
The integration of DG in distribution system had a great impact on voltage profile and power loss. In this paper, different kinds of DGs were analyzed and their models were proposed so as to figure out their processing methods in power flow calculations. The forward-backward sweep method was adopted to calculate power flow of distribution system with DGs. The weak capability of forward-backward sweep method when disposing PV nodes was given, and a compensation method of injecting reactive power is introduced. Different processing methods of different types of nodes in power flow calculation are presented. An example of 33-node system was used to verify the presented method and the results showed its feasibility. Finally, the impact on voltage profile and power loss was analyzed when DGs were integrated with distribution system.
