民办本科院校《高级英语》项目学习的实证研究

项目学习是学生通过完成一系列任务,达成项目目标来发展其综合能力的一种学习方法。采用项目学习提升高校英语专业学生的学习与实践能力,符合民办本科院校人才培养目标、高年级学生的心理特征。定性与定量的研究方法是检测该教学模式的有效方式。实验证明,某民办本科院校220名英语专业的大三学生经过一年《高级英语》项目学习后,其英语学术论文写作能力以及综合应用能力都有显著提升。
An Empirical Study on PBL Applied in Non-governmental College Advanced English
PBL is a learning method to improve students' comprehensive ability by completing a series of tasks and realizing a project goal, which matches the objective of talent training of non-governmental colleges and the psychology of junior students. A questionnaire survey conducted in a college with 220 junior students as respondents shows the current situation of the one-year application of PBL in Advanced English. This essay also compares and analyzes the same type of project result, English academic writings, completed in pretest and post-test of PBL, in order to prove the improvement of students' comprehensive ability and their academic research competence by qualitative and quantitative methods.
