Measurement of the Level of Diffusion Effect of Urban Agglomerations in China and Analysis of Its Influencing Factors
This paper takes six city clusters in different locations of China as the research object,analyzes the changes of the diffusion effect level of city clusters during 2011-2020 by using the comprehensive evaluation method,and then uses the obstacle factor diagnostic method to judge the obstacle factors affecting city clusters to play the diffusion effect,and obtains the following conclusions:①The diffusion effect level of six city clusters shows an upward trend in the research period.②The diffusion effect level of three city clusters on the east coast scores high;the Chengdu-Chongqing city cluster and the city cluster in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in the center scores comparable diffusion effect level;the Guanzhong Plain city cluster in the west scores relatively low diffusion effect level.③Diffusion foundation and diffusion environment are the main factors that restrict the city clusters from exerting diffusion effect,among which the number of patents authorized and the number of foreign-invested enterprises are the key factors.The results show that innovation and development can provide more opportunities and motivation for technology renewal and transfer,market competition and cooperation,etc.,thus facilitating the city clusters to realize the diffusion effect.
