A Case-study of Vocational College English Teaching from the Students Analysis Perspective in the Context of New Curriculum Standards
From the perspective of students analysis, this article adopts methods such as questionnaire,semi-structured interviews, classroom observation, and text analysis to examine and analyze the one-year practice teaching of vocational college English course in Guangdong Communication Polytechnic. The research has found that the overall teaching of the college reflects a good sense of students analysis. The teaching has been determined, conducted, evaluated by a relatively comprehensive analysis of target students'learning situation and achieved good teaching results. The shortcomings lie in the insufficient analysis of the learning situation at the micro and medium levels by some teachers,as well as the insufficient analysis of the"learning results",and therefore the lack of a dynamic closed-loop analysis of the learning situation. It suggests that the teaching staff should enhance their awareness and analytical ability of students analysis through multiple channels, integrate reflective analysis with technical analysis, attach importance to the analysis of learning results and motivation, and form a joint force between teaching and research in students analysis.
